Reports reaching Afrilyn.com have confirmed the death of Chad’s president, Idriss Deby Itno, due to injuries sustained in the frontline as the Supreme Chief of Armies. He died 9 days after winning a sixth term re-election in office with 80% of the votes. He was the president since 1990. Chad’s President, Idriss Deby Itno would have clocked 69 years on 18th June, 2021.
